SILVERCEL Antimicrobial Alginate Dressing with Silver is a sterile, non-woven pad composed of a high G (guluronic acid) alginate, carboxy methyl cellulose (CMC) and silver coated nylon fibers. This unique composition manages exudate in infected or heavily colonized wounds. The silver fibers combat wound microorganisms, which reduces the bacterial colonization of the wound and inhibits infection - providing a powerful antimicrobial solution.
